Sun, sand and skin come together at int’l label style spectacle

Summer is in the air and so is the scent of Strip’s new coconut wax. In a salute to their latest offering, the authority on waxing and hair removal launched into collaboration with brow expert Browhaus and swimsuit label I Love Koi for a tantalizing mixture of skin and sultry swimwear.

Guests were swept Back to the Tropics during the one-of-a-kind fashion show starring sun-kissed denizens of style for the brands’ 5th anniversary.

Tricia Centenera along with radio sensation B.N.O., DJs Sam YG, Slick Rick, and Tony Toni, led the audience through an evening of laughs and entertainment to herald the upcoming festivities.

In keeping with the collaborative theme, a special collection by Cheska Garcia-Kramer, for I Love Koi was introduced and modeled by PMAP alums Sharmaine De Ramos, Aye Abesamis, Hye Won Jan, Nikita Mcelroy, Dindin Bukid, Irish Ong, Pam Perlas, Kit Barraquias, Tiff Abiera and Cyrene Morales to much fan fare.

The venue also showcased a photo exhibit for Browhaus by Niko Villegas of Edge of Light Studios, starring Manila’s hottest luminaries.

Many turned up to witness the rousing display and celebrate the start of the suntan season with entertainment courtesy of DJ Tom Taus. Tab Abad, managing director for Strip and Browhaus was spotted at the event along with pro-ball player Doug Kramer, actress Antoinette Taus, the dapper Marcel Crespo, Manolet Dario, and Marco De Guzman, and models Fabio Ide and Helena Belmonte.

King of the nightlife Erik Cua was also seen alongside the gorgeous Divine Lee, Michelle Pamintuan, and Monica Araneta and fashion connoisseur Raymond Gutierrez.

In true summer fashion, Strip and Browhaus proved that this season is all about bringing sexy back with smooth, hair-free skin and eyebrows-to-die-for.
