FROM Paris, London, the United States, and all the fashion capitals in the world, top-earning model Cara Delevingne is now Manila’s latest style endorse after being tapped by Penshoppe.
The Victoria’s Secret Angel and high-fashion model has joined the ranks of A-list stars Ian Somerhalder, Leighton Meester, and One Direction as among the local fashion brand’s list of high-profile endorsers.
The news that sent fashion enthusiasts on a viral frenzy was first revealed through the British model’s Instagram account, after she posted a photo of her in a photoshoot campaign, sporting a wide-brimmed hat, a “Reckless” printed shirt, skorts, and a pair of ankle-strapped flats.
Delevigne followed up her post with another photo of her upside down, wearing the same t-shirt and sunglasses, with the caption, “Loving the new collection of @penshoppe_official. Watch out for my new campaign.”
In a report by stylebible.ph, Penshoppe’s brand director, Jeff Bascon, confirmed the news, stating that, “We are very excited to announce that Penshoppe’s new brand ambassador is supermodel Cara Delevingne. We had an amazing time shooting the campaign here in New York and we can’t wait for everyone to see the new campaign very soon.”
The 5’9″ model, known for her bushy eyebrows, was recently announced as Topshop’s Autumn/Winter campaign. She was also named the highest-paid model by People with Money with an estimated $46 million in combined earnings.
