• Surrenderers to undergo skills training


    A special course in agriculture is being offered to drug dependents at the Villar SIPAG (Social Institute for Poverty Alleviation and Governance) for free technical expertise to complement their rehabilitation process. Senator Cynthia Villar led the launching of Free Training on Urban Farming on AgriCrop production for Bulakenyo farmers in the 4-hectare SIPAG farm school inside Georgia College in the City of San Jose del Monte (CSJDM), Bulacan on Wednesday. Villar said the program will benefit 300 drug surrenderers from the towns of Pandi, Santa Maria, Norzagaray and the CSJDM which is part of the foundation’s project in Central Luzon. The training will start on September 12 and every Saturday for the next three months.
