The primary suspect in the killing of the former vice mayor of Pandi, Bulacan, in April was arrested inside an E-Game online casino in Barangay Poblacion, San Ildefonso town in Bulacan on Wednesday. Senior Supt. Romeo Caramat Jr. said Ariel Lorenzana, 36, of Barangay Pinaod, San Ildefonso was also facing a murder case allegedly committed in December 2013. Supt. Marlon Santos, assistant provincial director for administration, said Lorenzana was a member of a gun-for-hire syndicate and alleged member of CNN (Communist/ National Democratic Front/ New People’s Army) operating in some provinces in Central Luzon such as Bulacan, Bataan, Pampanga and Nueva Ecija. He was tagged responsible for shooting dead former Pandi Vice Mayor Roberto Rivera on April 18.
