AUTHORITIES arrested in Sorsogon the main suspect in the March 15 killing of a Filipino-Chinese woman in San Juan, Metro Manila last week, police said on Monday.
Insp. Darius Agmaliw of the Sorsogon provincial police identified the suspect as Anacleto Brezuela Jr., 39, a native of Barangay Aquino in Bulan town, Sorsogon province.
San Juan City police chief Senior Supt. Ariel Arcinas earlier said Robin Jacque Ong was found dead and naked from the waist down inside their house in Barangay Batis, San Juan City (Metro Manila) last March 15. The victim sustained wounds on her head and hands.
Arcinas said the suspect, who was a former houseboy of the Ongs, has been easily identified through the help of closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage.
Brezuela was arrested last Friday morning at the house of his live-in partner in Sorsogon.
It was also learned that the suspect was included in the list of most wanted persons in Sorsogon province for a crime of frustrated murder.
He is now detained at the San Juan police headquarters.
