Globe Telecom business subsidiary, Globe Business, and business process outsourcing (BPO) giant Sutherland Global Services have renewed their tieup.
“This only reaffirms our unique positioning in the IT [information technology]industry, that above and beyond the superior technological offerings of Globe Business, it’s our brand of relationship and rapport with our clients that matter,” said Nikko Acosta, head of Globe Business Enterprise Group.
The partnership aims to make Globe Business, the corporate and information and communications technology arm of Globe, the primary Philippine provider of Sutherland for both wired and wireless connectivity services as well as co-location on the telecommunications company’s world-class and state-of-the-art MK2 data center.
Company officials from the US-based BPO confirmed that Globe Business has become its current primary circuit, effectively reestablishing ties forged between two industry prime movers.
The partnership was built around mutual business confidence and technological reliability since the BPO’s first day of Philippine operations in 2005.
“We have entrusted our connectivity requirements to Globe Business as the major provider of Internet services where most of our applications are routed,” said Michael Quiambao, associate vice president for technology of Sutherland.
The partnership gives Sutherland the assurance that it can grow and expand to new locations quickly, because it has a reliable IT partner in Globe Business.
“They realize that their commitment transcends beyond Sutherland but likewise to our clients,” said AJ Enriquez, country manager of Sutherland.
Above and beyond the current service, Sutherland and Globe Business always find a way to establish connectivity whenever a new BPO site or branch is inaugurated.
“All things considered, it’s Globe Business’ ‘human technology’ that ultimately sets us apart,” Acosta said.
