The possibility of a “shabu store” operates inside the Tagbiliran City Jail in Bohol was revealed after the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and Bureau of Jail and Management and Penology (BJMP) confiscated methamphetamine hydrochloride and several drug paraphernalia were seized from two detainees there. Outgoing PDEA director, Chief Supt. Arturo Cacdac Jr., on Saturday said the shabu and paraphernalia were confiscated from detainees Walter Bolanio Malate and Rex Capangpangan Survilla. The two, however, refused to divulge their source of shabu during the conduct of Greyhound Operation at the jail on June 20. The prohibited substance was placed in five transparent plastic sachets, weigh more or less 25 grams.
