THE Taguig City government has increased its scholarship fund by P100 million for over 30,000 students this year, under the Lifeline Assistance for Neighbors In-need (Lani) Scholarship Program. The program began in 2011 with a P100 million budget, saved from the garbage hauling fund. Mayor Lani Cayetano said the fund will help deserving Taguig students obtain technical and vocational education, college, masters and doctoral degrees. It also covers payment for examination reviews.
