THE Makati City Prosecutor’s Office on Friday filed parricide charges against the Taiwanese accused of killing his Filipino wife.
Yuan Chang “Tony” Kuo was placed under inquest proceedings for the killing of his wife Rowena.
Kuo earlier admitted that he decapitated and chopped up his wife inside their home in Makati City because of jealousy.
The Taiwanese has been married to the victim for 18 years.
The couple’s daughter found the victim’s body parts on Tuesday afternoon, a day after Rowena went missing.
The suspect wrapped his wife’s head and torso in a blanket and hid it in the stockroom on the third floor.
Police have yet to find the other body parts because these were thrown into the septic tank.
Investigators also found several bloodstained knives and a pair of scissors believed to have been used in the crime.
