The Tamaraws won 3-2 over University of the Philippines Team B on Saturday.

With the win, FEU-B is now on top of the standings in Division 2 with an unblemished slate of three wins while EAC holds a record of a win and two defeats.

After a slow start, Gio Pabualan of FEU-B scored a strike off a penalty conceded by EAC in the 32nd minute.

However, the Generals managed to level the score, 1-1, immediately after the break through a goal by Jhunar Forio in the 58th minute.

With EAC’s offense picking up, FEU retaliated with the second goal of Pabualan in the 74th minute.

The Generals fought hard but were unable to recover as the men from Morayta scored two more goals before the end of regulation.

Josh Abundio extended their side’s lead to 3-0 in the 79th minute while Vijay Forrosuelo secured the win with a goal of his own in the final minute of the bout.

Consequently, the San Beda College (SBC) reserves were leading over De La Salle Araneta, University, 4-1, in their second division meeting until the game was halted because of flood brought by heavy rain. The match will be rescheduled to a latter date, according to match commissioner Ariel Serrantes.
