Depicts lives of Filipinos suffering and battling AIDS
Tanghalang Batingaw Alumni Association opened its 1st Theater Season with the play Kiriring, Aida’t Macaraig that ran from August 7 to 10 at the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) Leandro Locsin auditorium.

A trilogy about the dreaded disease AIDS, the story is set in the early years of the late 90’s when people are still ignorant in dealing with people infected with HIV, the play gives us an in-depth view on how people living with AIDS carry on with their lives in the midst of prejudice.

The story is about three individuals infected with HIV. They tried to live a normal life but still haunted by their past. They fought until the end to retain their sanity, cope with their deteriorating physical condition and overcome their everyday emotional catastrophe.

Actors of the play include Kathy Arguelles, Tara Cabaero, Faith Banares, Jobert Jestre, Jojo Riguerra, Mario Noval, Alvin Hizola, Paul Jake Paule and Kiel Viray. The production manager is Perry Escaño while Stage Manager is Posh Develos.
