TWO towns in the province of Tarlac are set to experience a nine-hour power outage on Tuesday.
According to the National Grid Corp. of the Philippines (NGCP), the power interruption will start from 8 a.m. and last until 5 p.m.
Among those affected to be affected are the towns of Bamban and Capas, which are serviced by Tarlac II Electric Cooperative Inc. (Tarelco II).
The NGCP, in an advisory, said the power outage will facilitate commissioning of 69kVFeeder protection of Tarelco II breakers.
“Normal operations will immediately resume after work completion,” NGCP said in an advisory.
NGCP’s customers and the public have been advised to take the necessary preparations and precautions for the scheduled interruption.
