TATA Motors Philippines will present their light commercial vehicles’ limitless capabilities in business and municipal applications through its products to be displayed in the Manila International Auto Show 2016 this coming April 7 to 10, 2016.
To be shown to the motoring and entrepreneurial public will be four examples of different body types possible for the Tata Ace micro truck and the Tata Super Ace light commercial vehicle which are already available in the market.
The Tata Ace Rescue Boy is based on the world tested platform of the Tata Ace micro truck with more than 1 million units sold around the globe, the Tata Ace Rescue Boy is the vehicle of choice to respond to today’s national calamities due to its high ground clearance, rigid frame ad suspension and standard equipment on board which will be used by emergency response teams. Tata Ace Rescue Boy is equipped with the same reliable and best in class fuel efficient Tata 275 IDI 702cc Diesel engine which is also equipped on the standard Tata Ace’s, but it’s unique rear body configuration with a Rescue Boy Lifeboat which also acts as a detachable rear body roof allows the rescue teams to traverse high flooded areas. This boat is equipped with a solar panel that can be a viable source of power since charging points are installed on the said boat.
The Tata Ace food truck is also based on the platform of the Tata Ace and features an all stainless steel rear body, with a panel that can be opened to reveal the main selling area of the food truck.
The Super Ace School bus is Tata Motors Philippines’ solution in providing a viable transport option for school bus operators nationwide. Based on the Super Ace Mini truck chassis, customers may opt for their specific seating configuration, and entry point locations on the rear body.
Taking center stage will be the Tata Super Ace Big Boy, utility rear body variant, which can be for family or for budding business owners. The Super Ace Big Boy is a 14 seater, 1 front passenger and driver light commercial vehicle that can be fitted with or without rear mounted air-conditioning.
