A TEACHER’s cooperative office was burglarized in a remote Village in Butuan City, police reports said on Saturday.
Reports reaching Camp Crame said that the office of Agusan del Norte Teachers, Retirees, Employees and Community Cooperative (Antrecco) in Barangay Libertad was robbed by unknown men. Police said that the burglary was discovered on Friday morning by the cooperative’s accounting officer Dennis Acio.
Investigations revealed that the burglars destroyed the padlock of the roll-up door of the said establishment. The burglars also destroyed the office’s vault that contains P129,000 cash and also took four computers units and even the Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) of the said office.
Police said they are still processing the crime scene for possible traces that could lead to the identification of the burglars. ANTHONY VARGAS
