Team Czar dominated Class A with 134 points to claim the overall championship crown of the OGOP Golf Tournament last July 30 at the Villamor Golf Club (VGC) in Pasay City.
Cocoy Sulaik fired 50 points under the Molave scoring system, Czar Sulaik and celebrity Tonton Gutierrez had identical 42 points while Boy Interior made 34 points to finish two points ahead of runner-up Team Ogie, which had a 132 aggregate.
Team Ogie was composed of Ayie Beech (46 points), Nelson Roa (45), John Estrada (41) and Ogie Caja (40).
Team BM finished third place led by Dino Datu (46), Mike Besa (43) and Ricky Alegre (39).
Kim Kat ruled Class B over Team Querol via count back. Kim Kat and Team Querol both posted 117.
Team Romy Chang finished first in Class C with 105 aggregate while Team Anil shot 104 total points to finish second.
Joseph Cubelo had 52 points to cop the crown in the individual category. Cocoy Sulaik fired 50 points and Louie Aguinaldo 48 points to finish second and third, respectively.
More than 120 golfers participated in the charity event that aims to raise funds for victims of the war in Marawi City.
Tournament organizer Jeffrey Bernaldez said that they were able to raise P50,000 aside from the clothes, blankets and goods donated by the participants.
