The Department of State’s Bureau of Consular Affairs on Sunday said a technical glitch affected its passport and visa system, which may affect Filipinos applying for non-immigrant and immigrant visas.
A statement from the United States Embassy in Manila also said the technical problem may affect US citizens as well since the glitch affected the bureau’s worldwide operations, and was not country-specific.
