Teen nabbed for pawning bike for drugs in Butuan

The police arrested a 17-year-old boy (name withheld for being a minor) after he tried to pawn a stolen motorcycle in exchange for ‘shabu’ late Tuesday evening in Barangay 1, San Francisco town, Agusan Del Sur province. The boy, a high school student, allegedly wanted to have at least P20,000 worth of methamphetamine (shabu) for a motorcycle stolen from Willard Rempojo in Ampayon, Butuan City. Members of the San Francisco Police Office quickly collared the young man after learning of the botched deal and verifying the ownership of the bike.
