AS it opened its 10th facility in Antipolo City in Rizal province, Teleperformance Philippines said that it will be hiring 1,700 employees by the middle of next year.
Brian Johnson, Teleperformance Philippines managing director, said that the company’s Antipolo facility would initially employ 1,200 agents, but this would be increased at the middle of 2014.
“We’re currently hiring for positions at all levels and welcome those candidates seeking great career opportunities to apply on our website at Teleperformance.ph,” Johnson said.
Applicants may also visit Teleperformance Antipolo’s recruitment center, which boasts of “modern amenities that include a spacious and comfortable applicants’ lounge with Internet hubs, interview rooms, testing areas and training rooms.”
The Antipolo recruitment center will process applications every Mondays to Saturdays, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and will operate 24/7.
According to Johnson, the “location is very important as it further expands the employment opportunities we can offer, as we branch into the eastern region of greater Manila.”
“As a pioneer BPO [business process outsourcing]company in the Philippines and global leader in the industry, we are very excited to see our operations continue to grow,” he said.
Teleperformance Philippines’ nine other facilities are located across Metro Manila, Bacolod and Cebu, and have a total of over 11,000 workstations. Johnson said that the company is set to open its 11th site at SM City Davao soon.
Teleperformance has been operating in the Philippines since 1996. The company has about 138,000 employees across its about 270 contact centers in 46 countries.
It serves 78 markets and its clientele includes “major international companies operating in a wide variety of industries.”
