THE Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (Tesda) and the government of Germany recently sealed an agreement that seeks to intensify technical vocational education and training (TVET) program to prepare skilled graduates for employment.

Tesda Director General Joel Villanueva, one of those who accompanied President Benigno Aquino 3rd to Europe, signed a cooperation agreement with Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (BIBB) for collaborative research and development of TVET and further promotion of the dual training system (DTS).
