Ret. Brig. Gen. Alejandro Escano, president and chairperson of TevsaPhil (Technical Vocational Schools and Associations of the Philippines) will lead the 4th TVET (Technical Vocational Training and Education) National Congress at SMX Aura, Bonifacio Global City, on November 12.
The whole day event will have Senator Miriam Defensor Santiago as special guest of honor and speaker.
Other speakers include Sen. Cynthia Villar, Sen. Sonny Angara, Rep. Roman Romulo Romulo, Colombo Plan Staff College Prof. Dr. G. Kalanthaivel, Australian Commissioner Anthony Weymouth, Juan Miguel del Rosario and Prof. Edwin Monares.
Tesda OIC-DG Irene Isaac will deliver the keynote speech with “Role of Tesda in K+12 Implementation and Mandate in the Development and Sustainability of TVET industry.”
The theme of the congress is “Towards Development and Sustainability of the Private Sector TVET Industry in the K+12 Environment and Beyond.”
TevsaPhil is a national association of schools and organizations in the technical vocational education and training industry. The association was established to represent private TVET institutions.
