According also to the NBA D-League website, Parks was drafted together with Indian player 52nd overall pick center Satnam Singh. The Texas Legends ended at fourth place in the Southwestern Division with 22-28 win-loss record.
Parks is the second Filipino player to be drafted in the NBA D-League after Japeth Aguilar was selected by the Santa Cruz Warriors in the seventh round of 2012 Draft. Santa Cruz Warriors is affiliated with the NBA champion Golden State Warriors.
Aguilar, who is now playing for Ginebra in the Philippine Basketball Association, did not make it to the regular games of the NBA D-League after being waived.
