• TF Asis starts demolition of river establishments by April 30


    ILOILO CITY: At least three business establishments by the riverbanks of the Iloilo River were given a demolition reprieve by more than one month after city mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog prevailed the Task Force Asis to give until April 30 the three illegal structures to vacate and start the demolition. Task force chief, Engr. Roberto Dumanil said a meeting was conducted by the city mayor and representatives of the three illegal structures to start a joint demolition by the Task Force on Anti-squatting, and Illegal Structures. Earlier, Mabilog said that other illegal structures along the Iloilo River set for demolition are the Hartman Dialysis Center and Nena’s Manokan along the Gen Luna and Jalandoni Bridge.
