BANGKOK: Security outside the hospital where Thailand's ailing monarch is being treated was stepped up on Wednesday before a planned visit by his son, a hospital official said, following unprecedented concern over the king's health.
King Bhumibol Adulyadej, 88, is the world's longest-reigning monarch and beloved by many in Thailand.
