An official event under the 2015 APEC Summit Calendar and a parallel activity to the APEC Ministers Responsible for Trade (MRT) Meeting, Taste APEC was staged by the biennial trade fair IFEX Philippines this year to present a large selection of the most exciting food products and the hottest trends in the food industries of APEC member economies.

Some of the Asean guests included Masterchef of Vietnam for 2014, Hoang Minh Nhat, who prepared four signature dishes from her country: Cha ca La Vong, Cha Phuong, Banh Mi, and fresh spring rolls. On the other hand, Thai barista Suppaluck Petchplook demonstrated recipes of Siam coffee, which is produced from exotic herbs of Thailand, concocted with tomato and orange juices.
