While motherhood is the most rewarding feeling a woman can ever have, it can also be the most challenging.
This is especially true during the earliest stages of newborns when mothers are subjected to radical shift in sleeping patterns. Sometimes, they find themselves wide-awake at 4 a.m. or dead asleep at 6 p.m.
Because of this, it is very important for both new and experienced moms to have a comfortable bed after all, it is where they spend most of their time bonding with their babies.
Giving moms and babies the best option of mattresses and pillows is Dunlopillo, a UK-based company that has been the Queen’s Award for export achievement. It also boasts of over 85 years of scientific research and innovation that result to superior comfort and support.
In October, Dunlopillo Philippines explained the importance of good sleep for both mother and child with an intimate event held at the Ascott Bonifacio Global City in Taguig.
Invited to share their first-hand experiences were three brand ambassadors namely model Kelly Missa, DJ and host Andi Manzano, and blogger Cat Arambulo.
A first time mom, Missa realized a lot of things when she had Tristan in her life including the importance of rest.
She shared, “Tristan is very playful so it’s very difficult to keep up with his energy. Getting quality rest is important because I’m a working mom. Both my occupation as a model and my responsibility as a mom require it!”
Nevertheless, Tristan is always the priority, and this, Missa said, is unconditional love.
Just like Missa, Manzano is also a new mother to the beautiful Olivia. In the process of learning the ropes of motherhood, she found balancing work and home hard, and it became even harder with her ever-changing sleeping schedule.
Also, she discovered that expectations do not always match reality. She noted, “No amount of books you read or advice you hear truly prepares you for motherhood.”
While both Missa and Manzano are first time mothers, Arambulo has three children already with the youngest Asher at three years old.
“I’m over the major hump in terms of sleep difficulties, but I’m still adjusting,” she said adding that nonetheless, she learned to appreciate sleep more than.
But despite being the so-called “expert mom,” she admitted that she still get surprises like how Asher became so malambing despite being a boy. “All child is different,” she informed.
Thankfully, the three mom ambassadors sleep better and therefore become better moms with the help of Dunlopillo’s new innovative offering in the country, the NormaBlock.
Present at the event to explain NormaBlock to members of the media was Marketing Director Jam Chan.
According to her, Normablock is not only Dunlopillo’s most superior innerspring system but also the most technologically advanced in the market. Developed exclusively by Pikolin Spain and engineered entirely in Europe, it is flexible to contour the body’s spinal shape to provide unsurpassed comfort and support.
It also has a unique total heat tempered spring system that guarantees proper elasticity, total resilience and high durability.
Additionally, NormaBlock mattresses also features Dunlopillo’s signature, full latex foam that is breathable and hypoallergenic.
The new line comes in three designs the Catleya, Decora and Lucia—differing in height, levels of support, and the added technology in each mattress.
Dunlopillo showrooms are found at 16 Acropolis Commercial Area, E. Rodriguez Jr. Ave. Libis Quezon City, EDSA Cubao and the MC Home Depot Fort Branch.
