The Manila Times on Monday inked an agreement with weather news program Panahon TV which will allow the former to publish weather reports provided by the latter.
Panahon TV will provide 3-day weather forecasts in key cities, as well as information on high tide, low tide, sunrise and sunsets.
“This will guide your readers in terms of planning their businesses; farmers, people in agriculture, tourists so that they can go about their days,” Executive Producer Donna May Lina-Flavier said.
She added that the partnership will promote both companies.
Panahon TV will also install weather widgets on the paper’s digital platform.
Panahon TV is the only all-weather program in the Philippines with fresh broadcasts from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa). It airs everyday from 5 a.m. to 5:30 a.m. on PTV Channel 4.
