The papal visit thus far

As men and women of the media, it is our obligation to deliver the news to our audiences—via the written word, images and moving pictures—given a profession that almost always make us front row witnesses to history.

But since Thursday, the arrival of the Holy Father Pope Francis’ visit to the Philippines, we in The Manila Times Photo Department—men and women who are among those at the vantage point in documenting the visit of the head of the Roman Catholic Church—consider our work not only an obligation, but a tremendous honor, an incalculable blessing, and a Divne gift from the Heavens.
