The season of merrymaking has officially begun at the Ayala Malls with the “The Sound of Christmas,” a concert series featuring the country’s top stars alongside the Manila Symphony Orchestra.
As a continuation Ayala Malls’ yearly tradition to make every Christmas colorful and exciting, the concert series promises performances that are world-class.
“For 2015, Ayala Malls prepares more world-class performances that will make every member of the family experience the magic of Christmas,” said Junie Jalandonie, the conglomerate’s head of commercial business, at the press launch on November 3 at Fairmont Hotel in Makati City.
Joining Jalandonie at the event were top executives led by no less than Ayala Corp. Chairman Emeritus Jaime Zobel de Ayala, as well as Ayala Land President Bobby Dy, Lizzie Zobel, Steps Dance Studio director and founder Sofia Zobel-Elizalde.
The Sound of Christmas officially opened with successive musical spectacles featuring Piolo Pascual at Trinoma on November 5, followed by Sam Milby and rock Princess Yeng Constantino at Glorietta on November 7, followed by the concert of Erik Santos and Nikki Gil at Greenbelt on November 11.
Joyful festivities continue with the jazz musical Frankly Speaking inspired by the famous hits of Frank Sinatra. Catch it in the provinces—Harbor Point, Subic Bay Freeport Zone (November 13), MarQuee Mall Angeles, Pampanga (November 14), Centrio Mall, Cagayan de Oro (November 20), and Abreeza Mall, Davao (November 22)—and watch the young dancers of Steps Dance Project and Omar Edwards from New York.

Besides these star-studded concerts, this Ayala Malls Christmas shopping treat also includes other exciting events.
Weekends will become extra special in Ayala Malls nationwide with a sequence of meet-and-greet events with Santa Claus, on top of fireworks displays, chorales, holiday booths, and the traditional Simbang Gabi.
Finally, Ayala Malls is encouraging its shoppers to give to others in the spirit of Christmas through the community social responsibility effort called 100 Christmas Wishes that will sponsor wishes of 100 less fortunate children.
