    The Philippine Martial Arts Hall of Fame (PhilMaHoF) will hold its third edition in the City of Pines on April 17 to 22. Aiming to recognize exemplary martial arts teachers and practitioners in the Philippines and around the world, the PhilMaHoF was organized in 2012 by the Modern Arnis Mano-Mano Filipino Martial Arts (MAMFMA) under the leadership of Punong Lakan Garitony Nicolas.

    The event will also feature Filipino martial arts (FMA) demonstrations, seminars and competitions at the Baguio- Benguet Community Credit Cooperative Hall, No.56 Cooperative St., Assumption Road, Baguio City.

    This year’s PhilMaHoF inductees are Henry Mikael Gando (Dangal ng Lahi: Pag-asa ng Sining Award), Cindy Abegail Monte (Assistant Female Instructor of the Year), Norielyn Joy Sagun (Assistant Female Instructor of the Year), Susan Murton (Arnis Coach of the Year), Alfredo Tolentino (International Instructor of the Year), Lawrence Oleriana Floresca (Master Instructor of the Year), Bill Johnson (Master of the Year), Joseph Tolleno (FMA Master of the Year), Junar Vidal (International FMA Master of the Year), Jon Escudero (Martial Artist of the Year), Mario Adonis (International Martial Artist of the Year), Anton St. James (Outstanding Leader of the Year), Jayson Vicente (Outstanding Leader), Steven Dowd (Outstanding Contribution to the FMA), Tribal Clan Martial Arts System Baguio All Stars (Filipino Martial Arts School of the Year), Rise and Shine (Best Filipino Martial Arts Talk Show), STIX Arnis (FMA Equipment of the Year), CatsLaw (Martial Arts Organization of the Year), Philippine Kombatan Mano-Mano Finland (International FMA Organization of the Year), Pepe Yap (Distinguished Grandmaster Award), Warlito Concepcion (Dangal ng Lahing Maharlika), Tomi Harell (Silver Lifetime Award), Juerg Ziegler (Golden Lifetime Award), Luz Arroyo (Pioneer Lifetime Achievement Award), Elma Donaal (Lifetime Achievement Award for Excellence in the Field of Education) and Ciriaco “Cacoy” Canete (Living Legend Award).

    The third PhilMaHoF will also honor its Top 10 Martial Artists of 2015 namely Timothy Alfonso 2nd, Benigno Caniga Jr., Alex Ercia, Sunshine Facto, Ayatollah Gadaoni, Danilo Huertas, Joseph Kenneth Magno, Sherwin Rabo, Louie Rempillo and Jose Santos Rodil.

    The third PhilMaHoF will be held in collaboration with One Championship, STIX Arnis, and FMA Informative.
