THREE CONSORTIUMS WIN $22.5 BILLION SAUDI METRO

RIYADH: Saudi Arabia has granted three foreign consortiums contracts to build a Riyadh metro, a project worth $22.5 billion. The 176-kilometer (110-mile) six-line network is aimed at easing chronic traffic congestion in Riyadh, a city of six million people.
