Three foreigners get life for operating shabu lab


THE Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) has lauded the guilty verdict of three Chinese drug personalities who operated a methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu laboratory in Parañaque City. PDEA chief Director General Arturo Cacdac Jr. commended the decision of Judge Danilo Suarez of Parañaque City’s Regional Trial Court Branch 259 convicting Chu Kin Tung alias “Tony Lim/Ah Tung”, 39, of Hongkong; Wong Meng Pin alias Chua, 47, of Macau; and Li A Ging alias Lee Ah Ching, 29, of China for violating Section 8 (Manufacture of Dangerous Drugs and/or Controlled Precursors and Essential Chemicals) and Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs), Article II of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. The court ordered the three to pay P10 million each.
