AT least three persons, including a nine-year old boy, were killed after series of landslides triggered by heavy rains hit two small mining villages in Rosario town Agusan del Sur on Monday, police reported on Wednesday.

The Philippine National Police (PNP) operations center in Camp Crame identified the landslide fatalities as Ceferino Garcia and Isagani Terio Depillo, both from Barangay Santa Cruz, and nine-year-old Dominick Hatico of Barangay San Andres.
