Three nabbed for illegal logging in CamSur


POLICE arrested three men on Friday for transporting suspected illegally cut logs during a checkpoint in a remote village in Sagñay town in Camarines Sur, police reports said over the weekend. Reports at Camp Crame identified the suspects as Joey Palmes, 36, Nelson Nelio, 42, and Allan Adayo, 42, all residents of Barangay Poblacion in Tigaon town in Camarines Sur. The three were onboard a Hyundai Grand Saloon (XAT-652) van carrying 45 pieces of lumber when they were intercepted before midnight at Barangay San Roque in Sagñay. They failed to show pertinent documents when asked by the police.
