Three robbers killed in Cavite


Three men who robbed an LBC Remittance Center in Bacoor City, Cavite were killed after they engaged responding policemen on Thursday afternoon.

According to Police Supt. Rommel Estolano, Bacoor City Police Chief, employees of the LBC branch in the city reported the robbery at about 2:00 pm that prompted policemen to respond to the crime. When the suspects saw the approaching policemen, they boarded their motorcycle and sped away with their loot.

The police mobile patrol chased the robbers who sought refuge in a vacant house at Greatwood Subdivision.

Although the police tried to convince the suspects by using a megaphone to surrender, the suspects chose to shoot it out which resulted to their death.

This was the sixth time an LBC branch in Cavite was robbed.

The responding policemen recovered from the suspects P10,000 in cash and mobile phones of the LBC Bacoor branch customers.
