The Tigresses take on the Lady Warriors at 2 p.m. followed by the tussle between University of the Philippines (UP) and Adamson University at 4 p.m.

UST and UE are the two remaining teams without a win after absorbing separate losses in their respective games.

The Tigresses bowed to Adamson (22-25, 21-25, 25-20, 30-28, 14-16), defending champion Ateneo de Manila University (22-25, 20-25, 25-21, 15-25) and Far Eastern University (22-25, 18-25, 25-15, 23-25) while the Lady Warriors succumbed to UP (20-25, 13-25, 21-25), FEU (18-25, 11-25, 25-21, 14-25) and National University (12-25, 13-25, 16-25).

UST, however, isn’t on the panic mode yet despite a 0-3 start.

Tigresses head coach Kungfu Reyes pins his hopes on Cherry Ann Rondina, who is currently ranked No. 2 in scoring, team captain EJ Laure and veteran opposite spiker Carmela Tunay.

Middle blockers Ria Meneses and Jessey De Leon must also contribute along with open hitter Rica Jane Rivera and setter Alex Cabanos.

The Lady Warriors, now handled by former NU mentor Francis Vicente, will rely on Shaya Adorador, Roselle Baliton, Celine Domingo, Mary Anne Mendrez, Kathleen Arado and Dana Disquitado.

In the men’s division, former titlist NU and UP eye for share of the lead when they face separate foes in the morning games.

NU tackles UST at 10 a.m. right after the game between UP and De La Salle University at 8 a.m.

The Bulldogs and Fighting Maroons are sharing the No. 3 spot with identical 2-1. They are behind co-leaders Ateneo (3-1) and Adamson (3-1).
