After a successful inaugural edition last year, The Manila Times will stage its 2nd President’s Cup on November 29 at the Aoki Course of Eagle Ridge Golf and Country Club in General Trias, Cavite.
Under the leadership of its executive editor, CEO and president Dante “Klink” Ang 2nd, the oldest English newspaper in the country aims to gather its clients and readers for a day of fun in the greens.
The tournament will charge a minimal entry fee of P1,500 that covers caddie fee and two mulligans. The green fee, cart fee, and lunch buffet are complimentary. Part of the proceeds will be donated to charity.
On-course registration begins at 6:30 a.m. while the shotgun tee off starts at 8 a.m.
August Cruz (Division 1), Pete Faytaren (Division 2), Judge Pio Pasia (Division 3), Ronel Tagaa (lowest gross), and Mate Don (lowest net) were the winners of 1st President’s Cup.
