The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Region III-Regional Quality Assessment Team (RQAT) on Tuesday inspected the facilities and assessed the faculty, administration, programs and syllabi of The Manila Times College (TMTC) of Subic’s Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship to be offered beginning this school-year.
The two teams of CHED experts gave their preliminary approval and a list of minor recommendations for the enhancement of the programs.
The teams will submit their findings to the CHED national office, whose definitive approval is expected to be granted upon submission of a report of compliance by January 31.
TMTC Subic now offers Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science (BSMLS).

The Department of Education earlier approved basic education elementary and pre-school courses.
TMTC Subic is a partner institution of the Subic Heart Center and a sister institution of The Manila Times College in Intramuros, Manila whose president is Dr. Isagani Cruz. The TMTC dean is The Manila Times’ Publisher Editor Rene Bas while Dr. Dante Ang is the chairman emeritus.
