LINGAYEN, Pangasinan: A leader of a drug-pushing syndicate in San Carlos City and his companion and seven other top drug pushers in Pangasinan were arrested in separate buy-busts in various cities and municipalities on Tuesday. Senior Supt. Ronald Oliver-Lee, Philippine National Police provincial director, said arrested in Pozorrubio were Diego Venenzuela and Amadito Surbano of Poblacion 1, found with three sachets of shabu and paraphernalia. In San Carlos City, Fernando Mendoza, listed No.1 drug pusher and alleged leader of Bilog Gang engaged in drug pushing and gun-for-hire activities, was arrested with one of his cohorts, Pepito Salvador of Barangay Tarece. Seized from them were eight sealed sachets of shabu, marijuana, a caliber .38 revolver and drug paraphernalia. Arrested in Urdaneta City was Roderick Tabale with five sachets of shabu. In Santa Maria town, Top 5 pusher Jay Esperanza of Barangay Bantog was nabbed. In Alaminos City, Joverson Jovido of Barangay Pocal-Pocal was caught with a bundle of plastic sachet of shabu. In Malasiqui, Mario Soriano was also collared after selling shabu to a poseur buyer. In Villasis town, No.5 pusher Arnel Mingarine of Barangay Piaz was nabbed with three sachets of shabu and marked money.
