EVENT organizer Global-Link MP Events International Inc. (GLMP) will bring together renowned brands in printing, packaging and plastics through the Pack Print Plas Philippines expo which will be held from November 5 to 7 at the SMX Convention Center, Pasay.
Now on its 19th year, Pack Print Plas Philippines is set to feature top product and machinery suppliers from different parts of the world including the US, Germany, Japan, China, Malaysia, Taiwan, Singapore and Indonesia.
“This year is probably the biggest and most comprehensive exhibit we will have so far as we welcome over 250 brands from across the globe,” GLMP chief operating officer Jing Lagandaon said.
Besides being an interactive showcase of cutting edge solutions and equipment, Pack Print Plas Philippines also serves as an effective venue for stakeholders and business leaders to be equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to cope up with global competition, especially with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean) pushing the establishment of the Asean Economic Community this December 2015.
The co-organizer of the event is Philippine Center for Print Excellence Foundation (PCPEF).
PCPEF president Alberto Calaquian said, “It has always been our goal to keep stakeholders well-informed on printing technology trends so as to produce globally competitive printers. With the Asean Economic Community nearing, an anticipated possibility of businesses locating in the Philippines due to the big pool of English-speaking labor supply available in the country is at hand, and it would surely be great if we also start working on productivity excellence brought about by technologies being maximized in interrelated industries.”
After their well-attended seminars in Cebu and Davao last July and September, respectively, PCPEF is also presenting a seminar that will discuss the latest trends and advancements in printing technology entitled Printers Technology Forum Manila to be held simultaneously with the expo.
The show will be open from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm from November 5 to 7. Admission to the expo is free for visitors who pre-registered online through website globallinkmp.com.
