• TOP WOMAN LEADERS IN BAGUIO CITY HONORED

    BAGUIO CITY: The city government here recognized seven outstanding women leaders in both public and private sectors who have excelled in their chosen fields. Named Outstanding Women Leaders (OWL) this year were Susan Nalog Angaga (cooperative), Lolita Bucahan Castro (livelihood), Rosalina Parayao Caya-os (community health), Priscilla Batoy Gumnad (youth development), lawyer Nellie Macadangdang Olairez, Irma Cruz Pangilinan (socio-civic excellence) and jail warden Mary Ann Ollaging Tresmanio. Save Our Women, Inc, founder and executive director Patricia Ann Gallardo, chaired the selection committee. The OWL awarding ceremony, one of the highlights of Baguio City’s Women’s Month celebration, was led by the City Council Committee on Women, Children and Urban Poor chaired by Councilor Betty Lourdes Tabanda and the City Social Welfare and Development Office.
