THE Dakar Rally flagged off last Sunday, January 4, with 665 competitors representing 53 nations leaving the Argentinian capital aboard 164 motorcycles, 48 quads, 138 cars, and 64 trucks.
The 37th edition of the Dakar Rally, universally recognized as the toughest off-road contest on the motorsports calendar, brings the competitors over a route of 9,000 kilometers, 5,000 of which are against the clock.
