• More tourists expected in QC

THE Quezon City Council passed a resolution urging the QC Diamond Jubilee committee to include in its projects the installation of reflectorized tourism-oriented directional signages prepared by the QC tourism department and the special design group. The resolution, which was introduced by Councilor Aly Medalla of District 5, said the celebration of QC’s diamond jubilee should highlight the tourism development gains of the city. As one of the largest and progressive cities in the country, Quezon City has developed and maintained numerous historical and heritage places which are now among the tourist spots such as the QC Memorial Circle, Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife, La Mesa Dam Eco Park, QC Science Interactive Center and the Quezon Heritage house.
