Toyota Motor Phils., through its social and humanitarian arm Toyota Motor Phils. Foundation (TMPF), recently launched the Pasiglahin ang Estudyanteng Pinoy (PEP) Feeding Program 2013 at its adopted school, the Pulong Santa Cruz Elementary School (PSCES) in Santa Rosa, Laguna. Students from Grades 1 to 3 were chosen to be part of the program. PEP is a joint effort between Toyota and non-governmental organization Kabisig ng Kalahi, with the two groups recently signing an agreement that formalized their partnership. Mead Johnson Nutrition supports PEP by providing milk for the students. Besides empowering PSCES students through the provision of educational materials and other tools and resources, Toyota also helps those who need nutritional assistance to help improve their health and academic performance.
