Toyota holds first aid training

Toyota Motor Phils. (TMP) recently held a three-day certification course on Standard First Aid Training and Basic Life Support. Consistent with Toyota’s objective to make TMP a safe place to work in, the company sponsors team members to become certified “first aiders.” A regular pool of first aiders is maintained by TMP to ensure fast response to emergencies should an accident occur. They act as safety advocates in their respective work areas to instill the correct mindset in practicing safety at all times. For this batch, 17 team members were trained by the Philippine Red Cross while another batch will undergo the same training later this month. Shown here are Toyota team members observing a cardiopulmonary resuscitation demo on a dummy during the workshop.
