Toyota Motor Philippines Corporation (TMP), through Toyota Motor Philippines Foundation, recently held its 51st Medical and Dental Outreach Program (MDOP) in Malitlit Elementary School, Barangay Malitlit, Santa Rosa City, Laguna. Over a thousand Santa Rosa constituents were provided free medical consultation, as well as free medicines donated by Carachem Pharmaceuticals and IAE Pharmaceuticals.

Doctors from Makati Medical Center provided free consultations covering pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, ENT/opthalmology, dermatology and general medicine, with laboratory services like x-ray, complete blood count, urinalysis, mammogram, and electrocardiogram available as prescribed by doctors. In addition, Makati Dental Chapter volunteers provided free dental consultation and tooth extraction.

The MDOP is part of the company’s many health-related activities as part of its service to the community. TMP conducts annual physical examination for the faculty and staff of its adopted school, Pulong Santa Cruz Elementary School, as well as a feeding program for its students. It also helps equip the Santa Rosa Community Hospital through the donation of medical equipment such as a dialysis machine, an ECG machine, a defibrillator machine, cardiac monitors, nebulizer machines, wheelchairs and hospital stretchers.
