Toyota Motor Philippines Corporation (TMP) has sold more than one million vehicles since it started operations in the country in 1989.
Based on the most recent Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines Inc. (CAMPI) report, Toyota as of April recorded 1,000,468 units sold since 1989. The well-loved Toyota Tamaraw FX, Revo and Innova tallied combined sales of 268,065; and the highly-popular Corolla and Vios contributed 213,325 and 157,347, respectively to TMP’s one-million sales landmark that was attained in less than three decades.
