Sandosenang Sapatos is a tale of a shoemaker father who once dreamt of having a ballerina for a daughter. Unfortunately, this dream is shattered when he finds out that his second daughter, who he envisioned to be the ballerina, is physically disabled and cannot dance. The story unfolds with how he and the rest of his family cope with the difficulties brought about by society’s ostracism and stereotyped image of the disabled. It highlights a father’s devotion to his daughter, and the value of a family’s support to someone who needs it the most.

This innovative musical production will star Jonathan Tadioan as Tatay, May Bayot as Nanay, Trixie Esteban as Susie, the disabled daughter, and with a special participation by TP Board of Trustees member, Tessa Prieto-Valdez as the Diwata.
