Trader shot dead by motorcycle riding gunmen inside his store in Agusan del Sur


A TRADER was shot dead by two-motorcycle riding gunmen who pretended to be his store customers on Sunday afternoon in a remote village in Agusan del Sur province, police reports said on Tuesday.

Reports sent to Camp Crame by the Caraga police office identified the victim as Clark Pacatang Sr., 36, and resident of Brgy. Bayugan 3, Rosario town of the said province.

Police said that the suspects arrived at Pacatang’s store on board a red Honda TMX motorcycle at about 2:15 pm and ordered two bottles of beer from the victim. After serving the suspects, the victim went back to the counter, but was followed by one the suspects.

Police said that one of the suspects immediately shot the victim twice in head and several times on other parts of his body, killing him immediately. Responding policemen recovered two fired cartridges and three bullets from a .45 caliber pistol in the crime scene.

After the incident, the suspects the fled towards unknown direction are now subject of police manhunt operations. Anthony Vargas
