Two-time National Basketball Association All-Star player Damian Lillard is yet to decide if he’s suiting up for the United States men’s basketball team for the Rio Olympics in August.

“I have not thought about it yet,” said the Portland Trailblazers guard on Tuesday during a news conference at the Kerry Sports Gym in Taguig City.

The latest Adidas basketball tour aims to connect millions of fans with their favorite players.

Lillard, 25, is a member of the US national training pool.

Lillard, who is in the country for Adidas’ Take on Summer Tour, added that indeed, some players are dropping out of the national team. Recently, Oklahoma City Thunder’s Russell Westbrook, Houston Rockets’ James Harden, and two-time Most Valuable Player Stephen Curry announced that they are not playing in Rio. Many star athletes opted not to compete in this year’s Olympics because of the Zika virus scare in Brazil.

“I am also looking forward to training with our fans across the world. It truly is an honor to do something like this with Adidas and all the fans involved,” added Lillard.

Lillard also visited Beijing and Chengdu in China, and Taipei, Taiwan before flying to Manila.

Lillard was Portland’s sixth overall pick during the 2012 NBA draft. He posted a career-high 25.1 points and 6.8 assists last NBA season.

Besides Lillard, the other NBA stars joining the Take on Summer tours in Asia are Charlotte Hornets point guard Jeremy Lin and Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose.
