Transport group files graft rap vs LTFRB

Transport group Alliance of Concerned Transport Organization (ACTO) on Monday filed a complaint against the Land Transportation Franchising Regulatory Board (LTFRB) and Board Member Ronaldo Corpus before the Office of the Ombudsman. ACTO National President Efren De Luna filed graft and corruption charges against the officials for granting the application and operation of the app-based Transport Network Companies Grab Taxi and Uber without fixed fare rates. He said the LTFRB violated the Public Service Act, which requires them to prescribe fare rates for public utility vehicles before allowing them to operate.
